I was so surprised by this modest restaurant located on motel row in Yreka. A woman with a vision of opening a restaurant in California leaves Thailand and finds a place just a few miles inside the California border in a town of 7,000. She brings her friends from Thailand and guess what? They serve up incredible Thai cuisine. The Penang salmon curry was savory, just a hint of Fire and light with coconut milk.
The test of a good chef is great taste with simplicity and the coconut ice cream was just that. Cream, sugar, coconut milk and a punch of salt made for a perfect finish. -

Was passing through this cute town. Paid $62 for 3 phos and 2 Thai coffees, in which I thought was overpriced compared to many Thai, Viet, Laos restaurants that I have been too all over California. The seafood thai pho was $17 SERIOUSLY!? There wasn't much seafood at all.
The pho was literally the green bag Mama instant pho packages. Portions were very extra small compared to the smalls in the Central Valley. The beef meat tastes old, like it has been raw for too long in the fridge then cooked, it had a horrible funky taste. I wish condiments and toppings were put to the side instead of them adding it into the pho bowl, that way you can add in your own preferences.
Only giving this place a 2 stars for their yummy Thai iced coffee and great and speedy customer service, still tipped the lady $4. -

This restaurant serves an absolutely delicious version of Americanized Thai cuisine. My absolute favorites are the green curry, their Thai iced tea, and the mango sticky rice for dessert. More often than not, this restaurant ends up being the gathering place for our group of friends as it can serve a variety of dietary needs, whether the need is gluten-free, dairy-free, or egg-free; there are some wonderful options.
It is located in a hotel diner building that is kept meticulously clean. I like to imagine weary travelers wandering in from the hotel and being pleasantly surprised by the excellent service, subtle and delicious flavors in some very easily customizable dishes. -

And me of the better restaurants in Yreka hands down- food is always fresh, hot and very flavorful. After numerous visits have never had a bad meal. The place is very clean inside.

Not as good as they used to be when they first opened, but still got solid Thai food. I recommend getting more dishes than people and doing it buffet style with your table.
